Goodbye Braces Hello Retainers

Alas! There's no more metal clinging braces on my teeth. I am finally free. But not for long. For one day only. Tomorrow I'll be having my own set of new retainers. Oh men! Do I really have to wear one? And my dentist says "YES" for 3 months only. Yeah right 3 whole months.

After getting my teeth casts, Dr. Latorre sent it to his lab. He wasn't sure though if I can have my retainers this afternoon so I decided to go back to Alabang for I still need to do some laundry back in the Hotel. :)

I wasn't sure what to eat. I am afraid that my teeth will have a gap again making me go back to braces again and since we're leaving here in MY, I have to wait for a few months before I can have them adjusted. Sigh! Maybe siomai will do, or maybe ube hopia? Oh no, T-Bone? I have to get myself out of here, out of this delightful food in front of me ( I was in a food court BTW). I have to send SMS to my dentist and ask him what would be nice to eat with.

Oh, I couldn't help but get so excited. After my brunch, I'm seeing Mr. Chito, the photographer we originally plan to get, as I wasn't sure if Jhen is still available on my wedding day. Good thing it was quite near my dentist clinic. I just have to take a jeep and be there in 5 minutes.

My dentist said that I can eat regular food. Nah, don't think so. I'll just settle for lugaw or porridge. Besides, I haven't eat them for a long long time already. Wow, that was a nice lugaw. Too bad they don't have "labot" or "laman" or maybe it should have been "goto", whatever, good thing was that it really tastes so good. I'm now down to eating batchoy on my checklist.

Being conscious that I was, I have to check my teeth from time to time. Oh, I have to buy floss later (typing it on my phone under Memo with alarm so I won't forget it).

I have to left as early as 11AM and do the rest of the window shopping later so I can be at the photographers house early. I still have to look for the place though. I need to make the most out of my teeth for in a while or maybe starting tomorrow I'm having my retainers. Hope it wasn't so hard wearing and cleaning them.
