It's been three weeks since our Melacca trip and three weeks since M Che asked me to make Jhermiel Clive's, my inaanak, POGI, invitation for his first birthday. She told me that she wanted Disney Pixar Cars for Jhermiel's birthday invitation and I suddenly have an idea for it. In fact I saved some of the things I made last year for Namji's 3rd birthday but back then we decided to send our invitations thru email. It's a whole lot easier. I just need to find the Disney Car's font or any font similar to the ones in the logo so I can change it to Jhermiel's name. After two days of, inspite of the flu I got from last week, I was able to send the final format of the invitation, given the modifications yesterday as sent by M Che thru SMS, Jhermiel's invitation is now ready for printing.
This isn't the original idea I have in mind. I was thinking of stretching Jhermiels photo to that of Mc Queen's face however I didn't like the way it looks. So instead I decided to put the pictures inside an oblong. M Che asked me to change it to round shape instead. I'm going to make 50 copies of the invitations a week before Jhermiel's birthday. It's pretty exciting and I couldn't wait for the alarm to ring on that day. :)
Next thing that I'm going to make is Jhermiel's guest book, Yohan's, my other bebelabs, baptismal invitations, and Ate Regine's Avon calling/business card. I've been missing this for quite a long long time already, two months at the most, since Bebe Casey's baptismal guest book. :)
I need to shop this weekend for materials that I'm going to use for my next craft project. :)
