My Crafts and Me

This are the things that get me going. Things that would keep me really busy. Of course aside from my household chores, taking care of my kids, learning how to cook and sometimes inventing and re-inventing them. Actually it's only now that I get to enjoy cooking. Most of the time I get high praises from my family especially my husband. In fact my daughter's getting fat because she couldn't resist eating the meal I always prepared for them that she kept asking for more LOL! Anyways, going back to my crafts..I'm finished making the misallettes for my friend Fern's wedding and as well as the program fan. I hope she likes it.

I was really saving this program fan/misalletes for my own wedding but I decided that Fern can have it instead. I know how much she's going to love them, as I have the first time I saw them. And I'm sure this will make her very happy. Although I got problems looking for the popsicle sticks which apparently they call them here as tongue depressors and surprisingly you can buy them at pharmacy, unlike in PI, you can buy them at any bookstores and in different colors as well, mind you, but with the help of Sis. Choo Yeeng I was able to find what I've been looking for, for quite some time already. The re and gold ribbons really turn me on. All the more as I tried putting the program fan together. Even my kid Nadine and husband Arvin loved them too. I plan to make the same thing for my daughter's 7th birthday.

I plan to use some of the ideas I've been saving for my own wedding on my daughters's 7ht birthday for I know that there's still a lot that I can make use off. It's just that mine still too far. Speaking of birthday, I am also making my friend's Sally's daughter Nicole, who is also one of Nadine's gal pal here in Ipoh, her birthday invitation for her 7th birthday party. Sally wanted to have Disney Princess or Barbie themed invitation that's why I decided to make use of the Disney's Princesses Aurora, Cinderella and Belle who were dancing together. I already used this image for my niece's Rhian's 1st birthday party invitation and it's really wonderful. Just perfect for her birthday and I'm sure it will be for Nicoles' not that I'm biased here :) I already made samples of Nadine's 7th birthday invitation and I was thinking of making her her very own Save the Date for her birthday. To which I'm getting excited and hyper-ly organized. (If there ever was a word). My husband kind-of like the idea to. But I just have to make sure that I wouldn't spend too much on it. Yeah, maybe I can do an E-CARD STD. Sure, I can do that.

Anyways, before I head on would so much other stuff on my mind, I hope Sally, especially Nicole would like it. Doing it wasn't so hard. I enjoy sending them to my printer and print them one by one. Even my son Namji enjoy's pressing the OK button once the printer alarm turn's on telling us that paper ran out.

I wanted to make a few more like monograms, invitations and other craft stuff. For sure my husband wouldn't mind me doing this for this is what I really like. They get me so excited.

God bless!
